Trains and Ferrobús to Santa Cruz de la Sierra via Roboré and San José de Chiquitos: the Expreso Oriental leaves on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 1pm (count Bs 100), the Ferrobús leaves on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 6pm (count Bs 235) The Expresso Oriental train is still typical, while the Ferrobús has been replaced by a modern "bus on rails" which no longer has the charm of the Ferrobús of yesteryear. It takes about 13 hours to get to Santa Cruz. It is better to check the timetable on the company's website beforehand.
