In one of Bhutan's most picturesque villages, this event attracts the curious, locals and... mycophiles!
Notice to the mycophiles! In one of the most picturesque villages of Bhutan, in Ura, in the Bumthang Valley, an event is taking place that should attract the curious and specialists of thallophytes. The Ura Valley is home to mushrooms, including the matsutake (Tricholoma matsutake) or Sangay Shamu, a "ground" or "pine" mushroom because it grows under the pine trees. On the program: hunting and gathering matsutake to learn how to identify it among other mushrooms, or cooking classes around mushrooms! It's worth a look!
