YHA GRINTON LODGE ^{* * * *}

This superb YHA hostel is housed in a former fortress-like hunting mansion built in 1817. Completely renovated with style, it offers perfect comfort, especially in private rooms. The location on the heights of Swaledale offers breathtaking views of the surroundings and allows you to quickly reach Wensleydale by the road that passes in front of the building. The common areas are ideally arranged, with living room, dining room and shared kitchen to make your own kitchen. Wifi is available throughout the establishment and it is possible to order food or drinks. A magnificent and relaxing address not to be missed if you are staying in the Dales. For your evening outings, Reeth is not far away and there is the excellent Bridge Inn pub in Grinton, only 1 km away. There are other YHA signs further south of the park.
