DOMAINE BILLARD PÈRE ET FILS
Jérôme Billiard belongs to the fourth generation of the field he has run since 1999. Based in La Rochepot, in the Hauts-Côtes region, this area is now over 17 hectares, in Auxey-Duresses, Saint-Romain, Beaune, Pommare and Saint-Aubin. It produces 12 different names, including two first vintages: Saint-Aubin "Les Castets" and Beaune "Les Chouacheux" and a crémant. 40% of the wines, all high in oak barrels, are white. Jérôme Billard works in reasoned culture without herbicides, with natural yeasts. It organizes, twice a year, open doors in partnership with wine growers and producers from other regions. Their purpose: «Express the typical of the land».
