Its white tower with a sharp roof emerges at the top of a wooded hill. Travellers may have noticed that this tower mimics that of Galas, dominating the Galatasaray neighbourhood in Istanbul. Originally, this castle is a baroque hunting pavilion built in 1667 on a project of Lurago, one of the architects of the church Saint-Nicolas in Malá Strana.
