RUINS OF HRADU FRÝDŠTEJN (HRADU FRÝDŠTEJN)
These ruins are those of a beautiful castle of the th century attacked several times without success during the hussites wars, before being abandoned some time afterwards. They are spectacular, as perched on the rocky ridge of Vranov and dominated by a high tower of 9 m in diameter, still in good condition. It is now used again to look at the beautiful valley, but tourists have replaced the guards of the Middle Ages. A few walls, vestiges of towers, engravings in the rock, will be cut into the old cellars. The whole is happily invaded by the surrounding nature and in summer by tourists who appreciate these beautiful ruins so in line with the idea that one is made of a strong castle.
