CASTLE OF VELKÉ BŘEZNO (ZÁMEK VELKÉ BŘEZNO)

This is a very original New Renaissance castle with its white façades, its arcades on all floors surrounding a beautiful, photogenic courtyard. It was built at the location of a bastion, by the Salhausen family in 1528, then underwent a baroque redevelopment later, and romantic neo-Renaissance in 1885. Inside the residence also serving as a retirement home, you will gaze at a portrait gallery of the Žerotín family, owner of the places, but also furniture and decor in Empire style, whether you like it or not. The park and the surroundings are very pleasant and invite you to stroll.
