CASTLE OF MANĚTÍN (ZÁMEK)
This is a little gem of Baroque art in this part of Bohemia. This elegant castle, with its pale yellow walls, was built in the early th century. Its charm comes from its silhouette, low, simply surmounted by two towers. But also its integration into the village, since the castle gives directly onto the main square of the village. Before entering the palace, you will be advised to turn around, to take advantage of the alleys of the park, to identify the many statues. Inside, we wonder about the frescoes and the sculptures. In the north of Manětín, the village of Rabštejn nad Střelou is assumed, with 27 inhabitants, to be the smallest of Central Europe. It is a very nice urban ensemble with a small Gothic castle, a th century church, a stone bridge, an old Jewish cemetery.
