This Cistercian convent in the heart of the village was founded in 1146 by Prince Vladislas II. But it was destroyed in the th century during the hussites wars. The current Baroque buildings date back to a renovation between 1710 and 1740, made from the plans of the architects, notably Santini (Czech of Italian origin, greater representative of local Baroque Gothic style). The monastery also houses the Metternich cave.
