CASTLE OF ROŽMBERK NAD VLTAVOU (ZÁMEK)
It is one of the oldest castles of the Vítek family. Originally, these were two different castles: the Superior and the lower. From the original castle, there is only the tower of the superior castle called Jakobínka. The lower castle built in the th century will be rebuilt in the sixteenth in Renaissance style. The first half of the th century will provide accommodation in romantic style and the creation of a family museum. Inside, Gothic style predominates. You will see beautiful th-century Italian frescoes and various collections. Don't miss the White Virgin of South Bohemia, a famous painting of Perchta de Rožmberks, and the "knighthood hall" embellished by th-century ceilings.
