LE RELAIS DES TROIS PONEYS
Restaurant with shaded terrace offering 100% home cooked seasonal dishes at Le Fête.
Set up in an old rural priory, the Relais des Trois Poneys offers you a gourmet break in the small village of Le Fête, between Auxois and Morvan. During 37 years, the house used to be an equestrian centre that hosted children for pony course. Chantal Bonhomme opened a nice restaurant there in 2014. The winter invites you to laze around the fireplace in a room with authentic Burgundian charm. In summer, the shaded terrace overlooks a pleasant Morvan landscape. The chef is just the hostess who make it a point of honour to change her menu every 2 months in order to produce only dishes with seasonal products and 100% homemade. Cassolette of snails with Chablis or a crayfish bisque as a starter, Jura trout fillet soup, pike quenelle or guinea fowl supreme, creamy soup with foie gras as main course. The organic vegetables come from the garden of Lanneau in the neighboring district, the cheeses are from Cîteaux, Epoisses, Bresse or Franche-Comté. As for the desserts, they are subtle and delicate whether the chocolate or spiced apple aumonière. You will surely spend a pleasant moment.
