SYCHROV CASTLE (ZÁMEK SYCHROV)
Formerly called "the small embassy of France" because it belonged to the princes of Rohan, it is a very beautiful romantic neo-Gothic castle, unknown and therefore little visited. The castle often changed its owners and turned into a medieval castle, a Baroque castle. Rebuilt by the family of the Rohan between 1822 and 1862, it was enriched by a large English park, superbly flowered in the spring and summer, which, today, is still the pride of the place. Exotic essences grow there between romantic pavilions. Behind the pink walls, in the romantic style rooms, they are exposed to the objects of the Rohan family (furniture, objects of the Duke of Enghien, among others), but also numerous portraits of European sovereigns, French, German, Austrian.
