Former shipyard to repair ships and then serve as a maritime rescue, with collection of objects and photographs.

This former shipyard, in operation from 1829 to 1989, is now an important historical site in the region. Originally created for ship repair, the site expanded to include marine salvage and shipbuilding (the Davie Canada Shipyard still exists, but on a different site). The collection includes over 1,000 objects, 5,000 photographs and old documents. In addition to the exhibitions, activities are also organized on site.
