Better known as Walu Beach, the hotel was famous for having been the filming location for the Australian TV show, The Resort. Since then, the Tropica Island Resort has undergone a facelift after extensive restoration work, and now offers luxury amenities! The Sanctuary Pool Suite, as the name suggests, has its own private pool, as do the Beachfront Pool Bure and Deluxe Pool Bure. The rooms and bure are modern and comfortable, and reflect the tropical ambience perfectly!
