The atmosphere is peaceful but lively, with plenty of suggestions for activities. Meals are included in a compulsory package, but being on an isolated island it would be difficult to find a restaurant nearby. The hotel's restaurant is very good, offering Western culture with a Fijian touch. The marine theme is maintained, with the floor simply white sand. The village of Nalauwaki is a 10-minute walk from the resort. This is where most of the Octopus staff come from.
