A huge white temple stands at the top of the grounds of a former plantation of 2,400 ha, bought by the Mormons in 1865. It is forbidden to visit it, but if you take a picture at the entrance, they will kindly come to you to invite you to take a tour... and talk about religion! It is then difficult to leave, because well-intentioned volunteers will do everything to initiate you to their beliefs... You might as well be warned! On Sundays, day of rest, the city seems to have fallen asleep, everything is closed. Do not plan any activity in the area on that day.
