This hotel with basic comfort is by far one of the cheapest on the Kona coast. Built in 1917 by the Manago family, Japanese immigrants, the building is not the freshest, but that gives it a certain charm. The most comfortable room, and the most expensive, is the Japanese-style room, with a tatami and a "furo" (traditional Japanese bath). The others are more basic with a double bed or two twin beds, some of them can accommodate up to 4 people. You should bring earplugs because the nights are noisy.
