Two Steps Beach is great for snorkeling and swimming, as well as watching sea turtles and spinner dolphins
This is a must-see when visiting Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park. Before getting back in the car, take a walk on the beach at the end of the second street on the left and then at the end of the parking lot, Two Steps Beach (after a path on black rocks formed by hardened lava, you reach this beach in two steps, hence its name!)... Its waters are suitable for snorkeling and swimming. You can also observe sea turtles and spinner dolphins (more rare). The place is very crowded in the afternoon.
