Kawakiu Beach is a small sandy beach with transparent water, ideal if you want to feel cut off from the world.
A small fine sand bank and transparent water... the place is ideal if you want to feel cut off from the world and of an undeniable beauty. But only for a dip! It is better to avoid swimming there because of the strong currents... To get there, take Kalua Koi Road then Kakaao Road towards the sea (direction Paniolo Hale). From there, you can either continue on a red dirt road if your car rental company has authorized it, or park your car on the side of the road and walk along the road for about 45 minutes.
