Looking for authenticity? Cacaobo is the place, in the shade of a large mango tree on the banks of the Bandama. When Lucy, the friendly owner, opened this country-style address next to a cocoa field, she put the emphasis on tradition. No fuss, just ten fingers and a hearty appetite! On the menu, local fare with fish fresh from the river prepared by expert hands, the bush meat of the moment (agouti...) or cabri soup on Sundays, all accompanied by Baoulé yams. An unmissable restaurant in a well-kept setting.
