LA PRESQU’ÎLE DU CHRIST

A simple establishment with air-conditioned bamboo bungalows and a restaurant serving braised meats, soups, kédjénou..
This magical peninsula of fine sand is linked to the mainland by a tree-lined path. Simplicity is the watchword here. Access is not easy (beware of getting stuck), but once you're there, you'll be enchanted. Basic but affordable air-conditioned bungalows are planted on this incredible sandy peninsula. The restaurant on the lagoon, run by Mme Agboton, a teacher at Abidjan's Lycée Hôtelier, serves braised dishes, kédjénous, chicken yassa... We love it here: the lagoon beach and its limpid waves, the timeless ballet of the pirogues.

The downsides, the air conditioner which does not really cool the room (3), strong smell in the toilets, and above all but above all, mosquitoes in the room.
The service is good, and the staff friendly. the room is 1000 frs xof more. the meals are correct and consistent.
The location is a real sandy maze, but it's worth the cost. There are signposts along the route so you don't get lost. drive at a constant speed so as not to get bogged down, especially during the rainy season.
Magnificent and very revitalizing space with the possibility of swimming in the lagoon or taking a short visit of the perimeter by canoe.
