PILATESTUDIO
The Pilates method was developed by Joseph Hubertus Pilates at the beginning of the twentieth century under the initial name of Contrology. Today, it respects the basic foundations even though it has evolved strongly as a result of the new body biomechanical knowledge. A source of daily wellbeing, Pilates is inspired by yoga, dance and gymnastics. Based on breathing and self-control, it integrates a set of exercises designed to strengthen the body and refine the silhouette while sparing the joints. In Horbourg-Wihr near Colmar, Brigitte Guthmann hosts adult group sessions (max. 15 people) as well as individual courses. Traditional Pilates, Pilates Boxing (playful boxing, dance and pilates), Kettlebell (training with bell-shaped weight), Bike (cardio-training in the cardiometric fixed bike), there are for all tastes. Men, women, seniors, future and young mothers: you are all welcome!
