Family-run, good-value hotel with restaurant, terrace and children's play area in Olot.

Since 1971, this small, family-run hotel has offered rooms of different standards (standard, superior with terrace and family rooms). Each room is decorated with a character from the town's faràndula d'Olot, a merry troupe of animals and giants from the town's folklore. There's a shared restaurant, cafeteria, terrace, garden and children's play area. The whole is more functional than charming, but the comfort is there, for an honest price.

Vaig anar amb la meva parella a passar un cap de setmana. Preu molt elevat pel que és. Quan vam arribar l'home de la recepció amb prou feines ens va dir "hola", no ens va informar de res relacionat amb l'hotel. Les habitacions acceptables, però les parets són de paper. Ens van despertar molt d'hora al matí i no ens deixaven dormir pels sorolls que se sentien.

Al entrar en la habitación había un olor muy fuerte a tabaco y humedad que hizo toda la estancia muy desagradable. La limpieza deja bastante que desear. El baño era decente, pero el resto de la habitación era muy antiguo, olía muy mal y el colchón era muy muy incómodo, imposible descansar. Y por si esto no fuera suficiente, lo peor de todo fue la atención del personal. Nos pusieron en una habitación donde se escuchaba al personal dando golpes y portazos dese las 6,30h de la mañana, por si el resto de factores no fueran suficientes para hacer la estancia suficiente incómoda. Comimos un día en el restaurante, la comida era pasable, pero el precio era demasiado alto, no se correspondía con la calidad. El hotel está lejos del centro.

La calidad no se corresponde con un hotel de 3 estrellas. Habitaciones antiguas y con falta de mantenimiento (olor a tabaco impregnado en la habitación que no se va). Cama y almohadas incómodas, casi imposible descansar. Nos tocó en la primera planta y se oye todo el ruido de la cocina desde la 6:30h de la mañana. No pudimos dormir a partir de esa hora ni siquiera habiendo avisado al personal. Vistas de la habitación horribles. Menú de restaurante mediocre y precio excesivo en relación calidad/precio. Precio demasiado elevado para las condiciones encontradas. Además el personal que nos recibió fue muy frío y distante.
