VINO VAQUEROS HORSEBACK RIDING

When you are in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley, you will find that it is also the land of ranches and horses. However, difficult to approach the magnificent horses, the ranches are private and rarely open to the public.

Fortunately, when Peter Ganibi, a former polo player and coach, arrived in the region, he decided to create an original formula combining wine with horses, the two local activities. Since 2009, he has been offering horseback riding on his property, which includes a ranch and miles of hiking trails through the hills and vineyards of Estelle Vineyard.

Here, there are no large group outings but individual, couple, family or friends' packages, adapted to everyone's level. A magical experience where we share Peter and his family's little corner of paradise for a moment. After a beautiful stroll, where, well settled in its wide western saddle, we evolve in a breathtaking setting behind the guide and his cowboy hat, we abandon his mount and taste two local wines. And to make the pleasure last, you can enjoy a glass of your favourite colour in a cool place in the stable or near the horses that gallop freely in their field.
