The most relaxing and enjoyable lagoon we visited!
You never have to get out of the warm water, you can enter the pools from inside; and leave the same way.
The swim up drink bar, swim up mask bar and fresh water dispensers are three of my top favorite things.

The lagoon is really cool to look at! And, of course, you can bathe in it, too. It's a really cool experience, especially, if you're there on a cold day (you're going to be warm, and your hair will freeze). The only thing is that I did feel a _bit_ itchy while bathing in the lagoon; I think it's supposed to be kinda salty, and maybe that causes some unintended irritation. Not sure if common, but just sharing, so you know. It didn't impede my experience, though, and I definitely would recommend a visit. It's very relaxing to stay here, and it's definitely cool to see.
there could be so many ways to make this place exciting. You could upgrade all the amenities, you could create real resting areas – of which there is really none -, you could install a good and clean sauna with different areas. But nothing of this has arrived here. my first stop in Iceland, but surely there must be better places. Plus, if it were publicly owned, one wouldn’t mind the high entrance fee, but being private it’s really a rip off. Staff is friendly, and there is a lot of them. That is one good thing to be said.
Kind of pricey but iconic and definitely a nice way to relax after a long flight. We went on a cold (-5) but blue sky day and the warmth was amazing. Word of warning: the silica face mask will freeze your face off on a day like that! Also watch out for the numerous "influencers" who are busy posing, posting, and acting like their opinion actually matters. You can't avoid them and they tend to glare when you stand in their view, which is actually a great way to get them to move away.
What a beautiful lagoon. It’s truly worth doing once in a lifetime. We were lucky to be there while there were maybe 100 other people there as well. It was quiet and relaxing. The floor of the lagoon isn’t visible so I can’t be sure, but it felt like we were walking on seaweed and who knows what else the whole time. The sauna and steam room need work, they weren’t nearly warm enough.
Overpriced and very hot water. There really isn’t anything to do besides applying a face mask and sit around. If you go underwater, your hair will harden.
Biggest, best, easy to get to spa in Iceland. Of course, there are other geothermal options on the island, which are more exclusive and off the beaten path, but if you are in Iceland for the first time you got to go there!
What’s offered:
•Huge clay spa pool beautifully surrounded by rocky hills and views of the mountains.
•Sauna and steam room
•Snack/drink bars
•2 Restaurants and 1 private at the retreat
•Outside waterfall-shower
•mask bar

If you are traveling during short daylight- winter time, I suggest getting there early to enjoy “solitude” before everyone else gets there. Also you get a chance to enjoy the sunrise.
People going into pool with Islamic veil. Is this a joke ???????
Chinese people going there with shirts and cameras....
Is this a "spa" or a tourist attraction ?
Even the basic rules of iceland ( shower integraly before going) are not checked
Go to secret lagoon or any public swimming pool in Iceland and it will much cleaner.
