LE CAV'O
Restaurant-caterer-pastry shop offering tasty food in Malain.
To reach Cav'O, it's easy to leave the Ouche valley towards the Mâlain mountain and head for the Château! Born at the end of 2014, this restaurant-caterer-pastry shop offers a charming setting and a delicious cuisine. Olivier Sauvineau created the Cav'O in a vaulted cellar that receives natural daylight because it has a bay window. Vichy tablecloths, small lamps lighting the vault, the atmosphere is immediately cosy and as the saying of one of the enamelled plates says: "Everything is going to be OK"! At noon during the week, let yourself be carried away by the only menu of the day, including wine. Sliced poultry, Gaston Gérard chicken, lentil sausage... And on the last Thursday of the month, it's calf's head, notice to amateurs. With more than 25 years of experience in the kitchen, Olivier Sauvineau returns to his first love of gastronomy. His profession as a chef, he learned it from great names such as Loiseau, Billoux or Crotet! Also trained in pastry making, Cav'O is a delicacy, offering you delicious apple pies or exquisite salted butter caramel creams. Le Cav'O also offers catering and takeaway dishes such as marbled ham or "homemade" pate en croute. Charm, pleasure and a change of scenery guaranteed! The number of places is limited, so it is better to book in advance.
