It is an old Cistercian monastery dating back to the 12th century and surrounded by a beautiful natural park with waterfalls, caves and lakes, surrounded by forest areas. Among the waterfalls, the Cola de Caballo is the highest (over 50 meters) and most famous. Inside the monastery, you can visit the cloister, the chapter house, the church and its crypt, as well as its kitchen, where the first chocolate in Europe was made. You can also attend exhibitions of birds of prey, from mid-March to November 2.
