HOUSE OF STEPA STEPANOVIĆ
This typical Serbian house dates back to the mid th century. Here was born Stepa Stepanović (1856-1929), a general already known during the Second Balkan War, victorious against the Austrians at the Battle of Tser in 1914. Finally, this same general concourut the puncture of the Thessaloniki front in 1918 alongside Marshal Franchet of Esperey. Standing on a hill and surrounded by hedges, this building represents the model of the provincial Serbian house. On a rectangular plane, several rooms surround the central foyer and the entrance is also a terrace. The walls are painted in white contrasting with the woodwork and the high roof in red brick.
