PROGRAMMES DU JEST (JUNGLE ENVIRONMENTAL SURVIVAL TRAINING)
Nature-oriented activities, a protected and respected environment in which it is possible to survive. Survival course spread over one to two weeks. American Marines used the Close Mountains to cause soldiers to fight and survive in the jungle. The Aborigènes Aborigines, or Negritos, were their teachers. After the departure of American soldiers, the JEST programme was inspired by this training by combining knowledge of nature with tourism. We can learn to locate a source of drinking water, to set a belt using only the resources of the forest, and the most adventurous can sleep overnight in the jungle.
