Mieko was one of the first ceramists to settle in Cunha and to work with the noborigama, this wood kiln which allows to cook the pieces at high temperatures (up to 1 400 ° C). The workshop is open to the public every day, but the ideal is to come on the day of the opening of the oven (check by telephone), because once cooking finished, it takes several days to make the parts cool and to be manipulated.
