TERRE DES SAMES

Run by two local Frenchmen, Terre des Sames offers hiking, nature and Sami culture in Lapland. Activities include snowshoe hikes, mountain excursions, reindeer encounters and visits to open-air museums. The guides are highly experienced and share their passion for the region with enthusiasm. Participants have the opportunity to discover the magnificent landscapes of Swedish Lapland, learn more about the local flora and fauna, as well as the history and customs of the Sami people. Activities are accessible to all walking levels and are available all year round. Terre des Sames also offers night-time outings to observe the northern lights, subject to weather conditions.
