Natural Bridges National Monument occupies an area of 31 km². The site was declared a National Monument in 1908 by President Theodore Roosevelt. It features two large canyons and three remarkable natural bridges, including the second and third longest in the world. A 14-kilometer scenic road and several hiking trails make it possible to visit the site in a single day. There is a 13-site campground on a first-come, first-served basis.
