BLUFF FORT
An interesting testimony of the past, about twenty houses and some common buildings in Bluff.
In 1879, Mormon pioneers from Parowan, in southwestern Utah, gathered their wagons to undertake what was to become the Hole In The Rock Expedition, a journey that was to take them about 30 miles from present-day Bluffe in six weeks... It would last six months, so arduous was it. After the passage of San Juan Hill, the group, exhausted, stopped in the valley and founded this fort. Today, we discover about twenty houses and some common buildings, renovated and decorated as in the origin. An interesting testimony of the past.
