BRIGHAM YOUNG WINTER HOME
It was in this house completed in 1873 that Brigham Young (1801-1877), who succeeded in 1847 and until his death to Joseph Smith at the head of the Mormon Church (The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Probable Day Saints), spent some of his last years. The museum allows to discover the life of this man with controversial convictions, which was also the first governor of the provisional state of Deseret from 1849 to 1851, and the territory of Utah from 1851 to 1858. The site is inscribed on the register of historic places.
