KHANGAÏ WALNUT NATIONAL PARK

A small natural park of 591 km², much less frequented than the one which shelters the White Lake. Much less interesting too! The mountain which is there remains nevertheless sacred for the Mongols. It has many water sources, and is the habitat of some species of birds of altitude, as the Hodgson's Tarier, a passerine. Birdwatchers will have a great time, but the national park is difficult to access.
