This museum in a boat hangar tells the port history of Gig Harbor, how the village lives from its shipyard, or how the construction of the bridge to Tacoma changed its physionomie. It is surprising to find here a very nice, modern and interesting museum. Behind the museum, a small school of the 1800 s has been preserved and can be visited. Also, a hangar with an old renovation fishing boat makes it possible to apprehend the craft manufacturer's profession, so present at Gig Harbor.
