A cultural and sensory journey to the heart of the Châtillonnais region with the Œnocentre Ampélopsis.
Situated in the Châtillonnais, the cradle of crémant of Burgundy, Domaine Brigand has existed since 1902. It was in 2003 that Ghislain Brigand, an attentive and welcoming winegrower, had the idea of creating a structure entirely dedicated to vine at the very heart of his estate. This centre for understanding wine is located 50 metres from the vines and invites visitors on a cultural journey to the heart of the Châtillonnais. Enter a 3-storey museum presenting Burgundian traditions, the culture of vine and its history. It's a cultural, recreational and sensory journey that teaches and give all the information about vine thanks to numerous interactive and entertaining media, videos and animations. You are free to visit the exhibition, which lasts 2 hours on average, to appreciate the Bacchus gardens and taste the wines on offer. For groups, remember to book in order to take out the most of the guided tour. The Oenocentre Ampélopsis also offers workshops and à la carte days by reservation. To spend a delicious evening in the heart of the Châtillonnais vineyards, find out more about "Les Nuits Bulleuses", come and experience the gourmet tours of the museum and gardens on Fridays in August. The Oenocentre Ampélopsis is an exciting and unique museum in the Châtillonnais. A sparkling initiative full of passion!
