SKYDIVE MAURITIUS (SAUT EN PARACHUTE)

We don't necessarily think of it as the big thrill we're looking for, but the adventure starts all the same with a fabulous flight over the whole northern part of the island, up to 3,000 meters above sea level. For twenty minutes or so, we discover the lagoon, the mountains, the contours, the exceptional density of colors seen from above... all panoramas that intensify an emotional experience already heightened by the briefing on the ground and the donning of the suit and goggles. Then, how can we put this kind of sensation into words: a feeling of loss, of falling, of freedom, an intoxication that needs no alcohol, 30 seconds of pure madness, a vertiginous plunge into the element of air, followed by a few minutes' float, gentler though still rapid (!), but which leaves time for the landscapes to take shape and form. There's no need to think, we're in tandem, and the instructor takes care of everything: from the thrust into the void to the soft landing, under the watchful eye of the cameraman who films every facial expression and color change... Amazing! The instructors are excellent and highly experienced, with thousands of jumps to their credit. On-site: video room and small open-air bar.

Nota bene: for accompanying persons or those who get cold feet at the last minute, there's also the possibility of a flight over by airplane-ULM with Island Wings (same departure base).
