ISLAND WINGS – SURVOL EN AVION-ULM

A light, maneuverable means of transport, with an open or closed cockpit (your choice), the UlM-plane is ideal for flying close to nature. It doesn't give you vertigo, you're comfortably seated (as in a small plane, not to be confused with a paraglider), it hardly jerks at take-off and landing, and it's much closer to the ground than an airplane: at an average altitude of 300 metres, the lagoon is transformed into a painter's palette, the coastline is offered up in a panoramic version, the soft green of the sugarcane fields, the bluish hues of the coral reefs, the rainbow of small boats moored in the coves...

Whatever coast you fly over - North or East - it's always a feast for the eyes to see the world from above: a way to better locate villages and hotels, to better grasp the relief or lack of it, to perceive all those "inaccessible" coves and beaches hidden by the rows of Mauritian houses... In the helmet: the pilot's explanations, very professional, very friendly. Above: the sky. Below: life as it unfolds in Creole style. And in the middle of it all: you, installed in this big, pretty dragonfly that flits from one hint of color to another, revealing the hidden facets of Mauritius (the ocean so close behind the coral reef...). For the romantics, you can fly in pairs in 2 microlights side by side - wow! And for the daredevils, parachute freefall from the same base.
