A noi poi è capitato uno spiacevolissime episodio, assolutamente ingiustificato.

My partner decided to surprise me with a spa treatment for a few hours on my birthday. We had the Togetherness treatment. We didn't stay at the hotel we only use the spa.
The treatment was great and we felt super relax after our treatment.
The views from this place is incredible. The staff was very nice, explained everything that was going to happen throughout the treatment.
My only complaint is that my masseuse had a bad chest cold and I was not made aware of this until the treatment was almost over. She was considerate enough when she had to cough, I heard her move away, couch ( which sounded horrible), wash her hands then continue with the treatment.
I would like to be notified about this to either have another masseuse or the option for her to wear a mask since she is very close to my face during the treatment.

All I can say is that I am so happy I was able to spend my days at a far better hotel than here. I came with my service animal and all necessary paperwork required and was treated well at every other 5 star hotel around Italy and Croatia. This hotel denied us and we were forced to find accommodations last minute while already in Europe. Thankfully we found last minute 5 star accommodations but we had to pay double the price since it was very last minute. Those same hotels do not allow pets but allow service animals and we were treated with respect and had a perfect time.
After having to spent double the money, they decided to keep 1000 EUR since we had to cancel “last minute”. They have denied us a full refund multiple times. We did not cancel last minute but were not allowed to be there due to our service animal. Their first excuse was that the dog will give guests allergies, I’m assuming their mysterious guests cannot go into the streets either and be surrounded by dust or pollen. For being “luxurious” place, why are they so stingy with their money? Go to Il San Pietro.

I came here for the spa experience with my wife. I cannot speak to the rooms as we didn’t stay here but the hotel is perfection. This is the most amazing spa experience I’ve ever had because it’s a 17th century monastery and it’s absolutely incredible inside and out. It’s a must do if you’re visiting the Amalfi coast. Wish I had stayed here too - that infinity pool is immaculate.
The spa was relaxing and we both had back-to-back 80 min relaxing massages. While the other was getting a massage, we used the thermal spa activities (highly recommend!). This included a steam room, sauna, shower (tropical, mist and rain options), foot soak with jets, warm jet tub, and lemon water and tea. Not only that, it was all to myself the entire time. Deep sigh…. I’m so relaxed now. And the staff and massage were impeccable.

No details about rooms, though the monastery has a location that seems views are panoramic. One can't discuss a restaurant experience without context. We had no concept of how to get here and didn't have a car. We got a taxi price from positano of 120 euros and I said that was ridiculous and that we'd take the bus.
We got the local Positano-Praiano bus, after missing the Sita bus, only to learn it wouldn't get us to Conca. We waited for the next Sita bus in Praiano, as the minutes ticked past our 20:15 reservation time. We got the Sita bus and got off at Hotel Belvedere around 20:30. Oh, by the way, it was me, my two kids and my wife, who had ankle strain.
We finally understood why we were asked whether we were going up or down by all the drivers. We proceeded to walk up around 600 steep stairs, winding around in narrow passages in the dark to the Monastery. It was humid. By the time we arrived (1.1km, which took us 45 min), my wife was in tears, we were all drenched in sweat and I felt awful. She had no desire to eat. How's that for context?
The food was, nevertheless excellent, with each course bringing us out of the shell a bit more. Wine list was extensive, if leaning in a more expensive direction. It was dark by the time we ate, so we didn't really get to experience the views. Nevertheless, this was the only Michelin starred meal on this trip that lived up to the hype, even with the lengthy preface. I gave location 4 stars because of the walk. We ended up taking a taxi back to Positano (130 euro) bc we couldn't imagine making our outward journey in reverse at nearly 23:30... Staff were lovely.

You know a place is special when every local you encounter wants to discuss the beauty and serenity of the hotel. Upon arrival, my wife and I enjoyed one of the best meals we’ve had in all of Italy while waiting for our room. Although only 20 rooms exist, the property seems to span endlessly, with new areas to discover each day. We enjoyed staying in a terraced room, with a view for miles to sip coffee or an aperitivo. The rooms are quite modern, despite staying close to the original concepts of the convent. The location of the hotel provides a quiet atmosphere, but there are plenty of great shops and restaurants to explore by foot. The complimentary shuttle to Amalfi is one of the most underrated benefits, as traveling along the coast is not easy by car. When we did need additional transportation, the concierge team went above and beyond to help. Thank you for an amazing stay!

All of the other reviews are 100% correct in that Monastero SR is a piece of paradise amongst the busy and hectic Amalfi coast. 5 stars in every way. The food, service, pool, spa, and the grounds were spectacular. Beautiful outdoor gym. Amazing cocktails and bar area. The complimentary services at the spa were wonderful. Service was incredible. If you’re looking for luxury, avoid Positano and stay here

Complimenti
