MONTANA STATE CAPITOL
Surrounded by 4 hectares of lawn, the State Capitol proudly overlooks the beautiful Prickly Pear Valley. In a classic style, the stone and granite building is overcome with a copper dome, which is dominated by a statue symbolizing freedom. If you are free to explore the Capitole, you will be prompted to see many paintings, including Charles M. Russell's, illustrating the meeting between Lewis and Clark and the Ross Hole Amerindians in 1805. But you can also choose a free visit to learn more about the history of the site and the city.
