The center was created by Dr. Rogers, a scientist with a passion for black bears. The fear of this animal is widespread, and after years of studying it, he decided to do something about it. You can see him in a BBC film, recounting his approach technique, which enabled him to establish a particularly strong relationship with several bears! Of course, the stars of the center are Lucky, Ted, Holly and Tasha, the four black bears taken in by the caretakers!
