GRUMPY OLD MEN FESTIVAL

A rather amusing festival, as its name doesn't indicate: the "festival of the old grumpy men" actually takes place in joy and good humour... in general! We celebrate winter the Minnesota way, fishing under the ice and golfing in the snow. Now in its twenty-fifth year, the festival is held on the Mississippi River in the town of Wabasha. Don't miss the Grumply Plunge: participants take turns throwing themselves into the icy waters of the river in an attempt to take the most memorable break!
