Right next to the Tian Shui residence (天水堂), the Jinguangfu House (金廣福公館) dates back to 1835 and opens its doors to visitors. The visit itself isn't of much interest, but you can see some antique furniture, superb elaborate doors, sculptures as well as works of Chinese calligraphy. A rare sight in Taiwan, where few such well-preserved old houses have survived. The visit takes less than a quarter of an hour, and the outdoor garden offers a pleasant place to relax.
