MUSEO DE INSECTOS

This insect museum, which has been in existence since 1962, was originally the faculty's private study collection. The exhibition hall is open to the public all year round. Here you can discover all aspects of the rich world of insects found in Costa Rica. The mimicry adopted as a defense, the diseases transmitted by the insects as well as the "agricultural" utility of the small beasts are the object of an ample documentation. It is possible to follow a guided tour. A very rich museum where you will be able to benefit from a profusion of information without equal.
