LA GOUTTE D'OR
Burgundian and Japanese restaurant offering 100% home cooking and a wine list in Meursault.
Thomas and Yuki Broyer manage La Goutte d'Or in Meursault. It is a dream location: opposite the village and the vineyards with plenty of parking space and near the motorway. Thomas Broyer was trained at the hotel school of Macon. He has got a nice experience in great restaurants of Polynesia, Switzerland. He has come back from Japan where he ran his own restaurant with his wife for 9 years. He offers at La Goutte d'Or a completely homemade cuisine - even the sorbets and the ice creams are homemade! The dishes are often Burgundian but we also find some Japanese meals. While the rates of the formulas and menus are fixed, the food slate is constantly renewed according to the market products. The wine list is typical from "Meursault". There are always wines by the glass, 2 white and 2 red. Be careful: the modest building of La Goutte d'Or does not reflect the superior quality of its dishes! Shaded terrace in summer.
