The old vaulted cellars of the Hospice de Meursault from the 15th and 17th centuries house the vintages of the house since the 19th century, founded by Jean Ropiteau. The wines are matured, regional appellations, villages, 1ers Crus and Grands Crus and prestigious wines: Corton Charlemagne, Meursault Genevrières, Pommard Chaponnières, Volnay. From Easter to the end of November, visit the cellars for a free tour of the cellars and the winery. Then, you can compose your own tasting at the right temperature! To be booked by phone or mail.

Nous sommes au Québec en ce moment en train de déguster un de vos vins acheté il y a un an ici et quellle surprise. Nous sommes à la renverse de ce vin blanc tellement c'est bon.
Et comme par hasard, on passe près de chez vous fin avril prochain pour notre voyage de noces. Si vous êtes ouverts, on arrête vous voir!????

Really poor service. Wines of average quality. Much better to visit a real winemaker (we did so in Puligny Montrachet) as it is much more interesting to talk with a winemaker and sample all his wines with no purchase necessary or tasting cost (in the end in Puligny we purchased 2 cases). At ropiteau we bought nothing. They were not happy and almost insulted us. This is what happens when the person is an employee who is just here to sell wines. Not a good experience. Would not recommend. Do not waste your time there. Go elsewhere. There are plenty better places to visit in Burgundy.

De ontvangst was niet aangenaam omdat we eigenlijk niet konden proeven omdat we geen klant waren. Na wat discussie mochten we enkel de Pommard proeven...van de vele wijnen die ze verkopen. We vonden de Pommard wel redelijk.....maar we hadden veel liever de rode meursault gekocht. Uiteindelijk hebben we 2 dozen Pommard gekocht maar de sfeer was niet echt aangenaam. Indien ze wat vriendelijker geweest waren en wat meer hadden laten proeven hadden we zeker veel meer wijn gekocht....
De grote vraag is of we na dit bezoek nu wel klant zijn bij ons volgende bezoek....zodat we wat meer wijnen kunnen proeven. Anders moeten we andere producenten in de Beaune streek zoeken die klant vriendelijker zijn.

E’ stato un privilegio poter degustare il Vosnee-Romanee, il Meursault e il Puligny-Montrachet di questa cantina nella quale si percepisce la passione sin dal primo istante.
Assolutamente consigliata.
Torneremo sicuramente.
