Between current releases and cinema classics, the Lumière makes a big difference. The Lumière is a small cinema housed in the Museum of Photography. You can feel the passion for cinema here, a far cry from the big, impersonal complexes. The two red-clad theaters are superbly comfortable, and the sound systems are particularly effective. No popcorn or nachos here (but drinks served in glasses, please), we're here for the pleasure of cinema. Films are in V.O. with Dutch subtitles.
