HET ARCHIEF

This wine bar occupies an unusual building, a little jewel of technology. Behind the sober, four-storey façade lies an internal structure made entirely of cast iron, from floor to ceiling, from staircases to internal shutters! This is because the building, designed in 1851, was intended to house the Province's archives, and the risk of fire had to be minimized. Today, the metal shelves are lined not with books, but with bottles of wine, and you can also enjoy a beer, a cheese and charcuterie platter or an organic coffee.
