A free festival from mid-June to the end of August offering a great cultural programme.
The Summer of Antwerp (Zomer van Antwerpen in Flemish) lasts from the music festival to the end of August. Everything is free of charge or for a very low price, and the events are eclectic: contemporary circus shows, street theater, music concerts from all over the world and open-air film screenings are on the program. The festival takes place all over the city, in sometimes unexpected places. The program also proposes for the young people DJ evenings, stand up comedy shows, concerts dedicated to this public, theater, slam and poetry.
